Requests should be submitted at least 2-3 weeks prior to your event.
Please save your email response, as you can modify or cancel your request by clicking on the 'Edit Submission' button located at the bottom.
Certain events or activities held within the Kingston Fire District and the University of Rhode Island campus require the presence of a Fire Detail. This detail is to ensure the safety of event personnel and attendees. The number of firefighters requested is dependent upon details such as number of attendees, location, special effects, etc... and will be determined after your request has been submitted. You will be contacted after your request is submitted, to confirm approval of your request.
There is a 4-hour minimum per firefighter, per detail. Details cancelled within 2 hours of the fire detail start time will be billed for the 4-hour minimum.
