The Kingston Fire District (KFD) has updated its RFP for its Radio System Fixed Site Repeater and extended the timing of the bid opening until 10/18/18.  See below for attached updated RFP for the current Bid Invitation and Bid Specifications, as advertised on September 19, 2018 for a Radio System Fixed Site Repeater.  Sealed bids are due, per specifications and special instructions by Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 01:00 p.m EST.

KFD made these changes due to the possibility of a major system overhaul in the near future as well as questions raised by potential vendors.  At this time, we are requesting proposals to only replace the repeater with a p25 compliant repeater which is simulcast capable and withdrawing the request for new cabling and antennae.  The proposed product must be compatible with existing equipment to transmit from Tefft Hill in South Kingstown, RI to the police station without any modifications to the main console.
