In a letter to the Kingston Volunteer Fire Company, President of KFD Board of Wardens, Donald Cobb, writes the following:

“The Kingston Fire District Board of Wardens has appointed a new Deputy Chief, effective July 1, 2013. Christopher DeGrave has proven his skills, qualifications, and dedication over the years; he has served on the fire-line as a firefighter, Lieutenant, and Captain. He has served as Vice President of the Kingston Volunteer Fire Company and has been a member for 8 years. It is with great pleasure and respect that we appoint him Deputy Chief.

Deputy Chief DeGrave’s designation will be Chief 8. He will be third in command at KFD. The focus of DC Degrave’s responsibilities will be training, recruitment and retention, and overseeing the SK Decontamination Team.”
